New clinical trial approach fights barriers to entry

The National Cancer Institute is enrolling patients for its Pragmatica-Lung Study, which features a new trial design that removes many of the barriers that prevent people from joining clinical trials. This is big news because increased participation doesn't just improve health equity, the results better reflect the actual disease community.

LCRF announces research collaboration with Daiichi Sankyo and AstraZeneca
|
LCRF is partnering with Daiichi Sankyo and AstraZeneca to fund up to three research grants focused on antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) to improve outcomes for people with lung cancer. ADCs are designed to specifically target cancer cells and selectively deliver a highly potent payload, which may limit damage to healthy cells. Early phase trials have shown promising results. Grant applications are being accepted through May 31.
