LCRF and EGFR Resisters work together to back EGFR+ lung cancer research
On National Cancer Survivors Day June 6, LCRF and the EGFR Resisters kicked off a multi-year partnership to fund research related to EGFR-positive lung cancer. You can donate towards this effort at LCRF.org/EGFRresisters.

LCRF, AMEC IHC join to end inequity in lung cancer prevention and treatment
LCRF and the African Methodist Episcopal Church International Health Commission (AMEC IHC) have joined forces to bring awareness of the prevalence, risk factors, importance of screening, and prevention of lung cancer in Black Americans. Read the announcement here.

Free to Breathe Kites kicks off!
The virtual kickoff for Free to Breathe Kites was held June 26, and it's available to stream online if you missed it! You can still sign up to fly your kite and raise funds for lung cancer research. Get started at LCRF.org/kites.

Jesse Owens' family featured in new awareness campaign
Jesse Owens was a record-breaking track and field athlete and four-time gold medalist in the 1936 Olympic Games and he died from lung cancer. His story is featured in a documentary and companion guide for Black Americans, commissioned by LCRF and AME International Health Commission.

Memorial golf event raises $16K for lung cancer research
